1. Program name

NC Property Tax Appeal Text Alerts, run by NC Property Tax Appeal, a service operated by SuperCala LLC.

2. Program description

NC Property Tax Appeal sends text messages only to people who have opted in, including:

• Deadline reminders: reminders before your county's property tax relief deadline (Form AV-9, due June 1) and appeal deadlines
• New-value notices: a heads-up when your county mails new property values
• Application updates: updates about a relief application, record correction or appeal you started on our site

We don't send marketing or promotional texts.

3. Opt-in method

You opt in to NC Property Tax Appeal Text Alerts only through our online form at https://www.ncpropertytaxappeal.com/sms-consent. On that form you enter your name, mobile number and county, and may check an optional, unchecked consent box that reads: "By checking this box, I agree to receive recurring SMS text messages from NC Property Tax Appeal (operated by SuperCala LLC) at the phone number provided." The form lists the message types, the frequency (up to 4 messages per month), "Message and data rates may apply.", and STOP/HELP instructions, with links to these SMS Terms and our Privacy Policy. Checking the box is optional; if you leave it unchecked you are not subscribed. There is no other way to sign up for texts.

Consent is express, opt-in only, and is never a condition of any purchase or of using NC Property Tax Appeal. By opting in, you confirm you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile number provided and agree to receive recurring text messages from NC Property Tax Appeal at that number.

Up to 4 messages per month. Frequency varies with your county's deadlines and any application you've started.

5. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier about your text plan. NC Property Tax Appeal doesn't charge for text messages.

6. How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. You'll get one confirmation text and no further messages unless you opt in again (reply START, or use the form).

8. Carrier disclaimer

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your mobile carrier and isn't guaranteed.

9. Mobile information sharing

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile information (including phone numbers and opt-in data) to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile information is used only to send the NC Property Tax Appeal Text Alerts described here. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. 10. Consent not required

This opt-in is optional: consent is not a condition of any purchase or of using NC Property Tax Appeal, and you can use the site and reach support without subscribing to texts.
